Background: Charles K. Toth holds Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Geo-Information Science from the Technical University of Budapest, Hungary. He is a Certified Photogrammetrist (ASPRS) with 25 years of interdisciplinary research experience in geospatial science and information technology, the recipient of the ASPRS Photogrammetric Award (Fairchild), 2009, and the co-editor of the popular book Topographic Laser Ranging and Scanning: Principles and Processing, 2008.
