The annual dinner is a great networking opportunity!
Program will include presentation of scholarship awards, swearing in of new officers, and a guest speaker. For those that plan to spend the night in Milan/Sandusky area, we have set up a tour of the NASA Plum Brook Station on Saturday morning.
Dinner Cost: $30 Members, $35 Non-members, $15 Students

After Dinner Guest Speaker: Chuck Olson with a presentation titled “From Plane-Table to Lidar”

10:00 am Arrive at NASA Plum Brook Station Main Gate
Show identification, get clearance badges
10:10 am Transportation to and Tour of Spacecraft Propulsion Research Facility (B-2)
This is the world’s only test facility capable of full-scale rocket engine firings and launch vehicle system level tests at high-altitude conditions.
11:00 am Transportation to and Tour of Space Power Facility (SPF)
Home of the world’s largest space environment simulation chamber, the facility has tested parts of rockets, Mars Landers and space station hardware.
12:00 pm Presentation – History of Plum Brook Station
John Blakeman will present a historical overview of the land, roads, eco system, station wildlife and facilities at the station.
1:00 pm Depart Plum Brook Station
Please note that all visitors must be a US Citizen as there isn’t time to get internationals cleared at this late date. Anyone who is 18 years old, or older, will have to have a valid, government issued, picture ID with them to get through our security gate. And everyone must be at least 9 years old to tour the station.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and note that open toe shoes are not allowed on the tour. There isn’t a lot of outside walking but there are some stairs with open grating and uneven surfaces that you’ll be warned of during the tour.
Parking is limited at the tour sites. We will coordinate a few days prior with everyone attending on car-pool options.
